Petite Sirah 2013 - 750ml
Blackberry pie in a glass with suggestions of vanilla and pine forest. This Petite Sirah offers a huge mid-palate of ripe glycerin and chewy but soft tannin. The natural acidity completes the balance of Beethoven dynamics! Very age worthy yet fun to drink in its youth!
2013 Robert Foley Vineyards Petite Sirah
Foley has always done a great job with Petite Sirah, and his 2013 Petite Sirah (15.2% alcohol) is another blockbuster. Black purple in color, it is backward and tannic, with oodles of fruit, extract and plenty of blackberry and blueberry notes. Powerful, rich and long, this is another wine to forget for 5-6 years and drink over the following two to three decades.
